It is possible to look neat and tidy while preparing to write an exam. All you need are comfy clothing choices, a can do attitude and a hairbrush.

I have created a few outfits for exam season which are comfy, quick to put together and dont scream "I spent all of my time getting ready and not studying"
HAIR: no need to waste precious hours straightening and curling.....stick to the simple messy bun or a chignon. Or you can hop in the shower, hop out, insert gel or mousse, scrunch and voila curly hair! Check out some great hair tutorials at http://theoutfitmaker.blogspot.com/p/hairstyles.html .
Makeup: Dont waste your time applying foundation, bronzer, eye shadow and lipgloss. You don't even have to wear makeup. Go natural! If you do have a moment to spare ..... perhaps eyliner and chapstick? and a hint of blush to add some colour to your cheeks (we all know the zombie-chic face during exam season :S)

I HATE it when people think that exam season means that you should leave all style at the door, and all the kids who normally live in tracksuits and fli-flops look cool. I wear what I would normally wear to my exams, it makes me feel normal.
ReplyDeleteDon't be sad about being brunette, I would love to be one! If I ever grow my hair out again might become one, tried it when it was short and it didn't work. Though red is good, I wish I was like Karen Elson but I can enhance what I have :)
I agree with you... exam outfits must be comfy yet stylish. I also believe that confidence is the key. You have to like and be confident with what you're wearing so that your mind will be off your outfit and instead be on the exam.

I like being comfy yet still stylish when i'm studying. my go to is usually a pair of leggings & an ultra cozy oversized cardigan :)
